Usage: The assam fish paste manufactured by Oriental Crops Sdn Bhd, is an instant blend of spices which could help you to cook the classic Malaysian cuisine, Asam Pedas. It is made from the basic ingredients of onions, vegetable oil, garlic, chili and even more. Not to forget, the star ingredient, tamarind which creates the signature taste of spicy and sour of the dish. Here are the instructions that can be followed to make a delicious fish dish:

1. Open the box packaging and take out the paste.
2. Then, cut it open and pour it into a blender.
3. To the blender, add 400ml or 13.52 fl oz of pineapple juice. Blend it with 4 big onions.
4. Add the blended ingredients into a pot and simmer it to a gentle boil.
5. Add 600g or 1.32 lb of fish and vegetables into the pot.
6. Cook it for 10-12 minutes over a medium heat.
7. Season it with salt accordingly to taste and serve it warm.
8. It would better to serve it hot with some rice.
9. Then dig in.

Storage Information: Since it is a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) product, the shelf-life of it is 24 months (2 years). You can store this assam fish paste in a room temperature.
