The spark enhancement system is a high-powered amplifier which significantly boosts ignition current. The device raises ignition voltage to 14-16.8 volts, depending on the specified model when operating. The system is not affected by low alternator output when the alternator is hot, or under high electrical loads etc.

Some modern cars with smart-charging technology create an unstable power supply (due to ecu controls) that can cause low voltage to the ignition system during acceleration. The spark enhancer improves and stabilizes the power supply to the ignition coils under all operating conditions.
