Thosai is a popular Indian bread / pancake, from South India. It is debatable if Thosai first originated in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka or Kerala. Thosai is made with black gram bean flour (Vigna Mungo / Urad), plain white rice / white rice flour, salt, oil / clarified butter (Ghee), water and fenugreek seeds.
