Long pepper is a plant of the Piperaceae family that is distributed in India and Southeast Asia, and is also known as Nagakosho. The immature ears of long pepper are said to promote body heat production due to their strong pungent taste, and have been widely used as spices and medicinal products since ancient times. This product is a Hihatsu extract powder that is obtained by extracting the dried fruit ears with water and ethanol, adding gum arabic, and spray-drying.
