Usage: This guide will demonstrate how to use KAF Kaya Coconut Curd. Firstly, prepare some bread toasted to your liking, or a couple of crackers if you prefer. Then, spread the curded coconuts onto your toast. The amount that you use should be your preferred amount. Waffles, crumpets, English Muffins, sweet buns, and ice cream would also be a great choice to spread with coconut curd. Second, you can also use the coconut curd as a dipping condiment for your crackers.
If you wish to consume it warm, you may reheat the coconut curds. You can choose to heat the coconut curd in a saucepan. Heat it over low heat and constantly stir it to prevent the base of the curded coconuts from burning. Alternatively, you can also microwave the coconut curd in a microwave-safe dish for 10 to 20 seconds until the coconut curd is at the desired temperature.
For added flavour and a stronger aroma, you can use pandan leaves to enhance the taste and smell of the curded coconut. The process is rather simple. Firstly, put the coconut curd in a heating pot. Then, tie a few cleanly washed pandan leaves in a knot and add it to the curded coconut. Heat the pot for about 10-15 minutes and stir it simultaneously for the coconut curd to properly absorb the refreshing flavour and scent of the pandan leaves. To finish it, do not forget to remove the knotted pandan leaves before placing the coconut curd into a jar container.

KAF Kaya Coconut Curd Overview
Coconut curd is a dipping condiment native to Southeast Asia. However, how it is made and used may differ uniquely for every region. The KAF Kaya Coconut Curd is, as in the name, known as Kaya. This variant of coconut curd is commonly used in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. Because they have eggs as an ingredient, they are termed coconut custard. KAF’s curded coconut does not contain eggs. It is also known as kaya jam and kaya spread. The process of making this kaya spread is rather simple but it takes time and patience to get it right. The process of coconut curd comprises of whisking the ingredients over medium low heat. However, you can skip the process and simply use KAF Kaya Coconut Curd. The ingredients are a mix of coconut milk, coconut sugar, butter, and sodium bicarbonate, hence, why it is called coconut curd.
Eating toast plain and your crackers dipped in Teh Tarik tastes bland and may even be repetitive and boring. Why not add some flavor to your breakfast and teatime with some smooth coconut curd? Coconut curds’ creamy and naturally sweet taste will help you start (or finish) your day with a smile as your palettes are blessed with a simple, yet very fulfilling meal enriched by the taste of coconut curds. Breadsticks can also be dipped into curded coconuts as a flavor enhancement and if you’re not shy for a twist, even snacks such as spring rolls can be dipped in coconut curds to put in your taste palettes in on an adventure.
