The green layer may be at the bottom of the mung bean cake. As a result, you may need to start with green batter. After pouring in the batter, you may use a spoon to spread the batter evenly across the pan. Steam green batter for 5 to 8 minutes. After the first layer is cooked, you may pour in the yellow batter. Steam it for 10 minutes to make sure it is well-cooked.
The cooking time for each layer may increase as the layer cake becomes thicker. Pour the batter interchangeably until you use up all the batter. The last batter to pour in should be green batter. After all the layers are cooked, turn off the heat. Remove the pan from the steamer. Let it cool at room temperature for at least 5 to 6 hours. Cut the layer cake into pieces with a knife and it is ready to be served!
