Through the process of urbanisation, many buildings are built in order to cater the needs of the increasing population. These buildings can be divided into a few categories such as residential, offices, factories, industries and etc. Looking forward to existence of these new buildings, they require maintenance and service, not only to keep them in great condition, but also for the future use.
In order to preserve and maintain the buildings, the external appearance is one of the things that needs to be taken care of. Climate, humidity and environment can contribute to damage, corrosion, oxidization and fouling thus making the exterior of building loses its gloss and affects the aesthetics value. Fixing the damaged areas is not really beneficial as it will keep reoccurring, meanwhile changing or replacing the broken area is proven to be costly considering the material and labour work required.
The reason for this to happen is due to the growth of bacteria, fungal, mould and algae. The contamination then will be more vigorous as it will grow periodically overtime, causes cross contamination around the area and changes its properties to be acidic or alkaline. This shows that outdoor surfaces deteriorate aggressively thus frequent service and maintenance must be done.
It will penetrates and releases the biofilms (jelly/slime), blood, protein, gelatine, grease, fungal, mould, algae and contamination bonds that started in the problematic areas and can be easily flushed away using water, thus prevents contamination, cross contamination or re-contamination from taking place in aqueous and humid environment.
BMFD is a multi-enzymatic formulation, readily biodegradable, safe for humans and applicators and does not harm the environment. Most importantly, it does not produce any harmful reaction and does not damage or weakens the structures of buildings or material, whether it being plastic, wood, metal, concrete or paint. It penetrates and breaks the bonds and allows the roots of the contaminations to be released and easily removed. By removing the root system, it will extend the growth for extended period of times.
