Our history began in Konya in 1965 in a small workshop and continues in our modern plant in Gebze-Kocaeli where we moved in 1991.  

Today, Tayas has become one of the most important producers of compound chocolate, candy and chocolate products in Turkey and worldwide. While achieving great success in international markets, Tayas is able to target different tastes with a product range with over 750 SKUs.  

Tayas is accredited for compliance with FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS, HELAL and ISO 22000 standards. With its ability to comply to the strictest food codexes of different countries and performance of detailed food analysis, Tayas makes unconditional customer satisfaction its principle and continues applying this successfully.  

With 33,000 m² indoor space, Tayas provides work opportunities for 1000 people, running a production capacity of 180 tons per day of which 90% are exported to 136 countries worldwide. n the local market, Tayas is not only supplying the chain stores, but has further started to supply the traditional channels through a distribution system. 

Tayaş Food gives great importance to research and development in order to  develop new products  in the  market where  there is harsh competition.

• Since 07.02.2017, Tayas is the 18th R&D Center in Turkey confectionery sector. 
• Tayaş Food is in the top 10 with production of chocolate, coated biscuits, bars, soft and hard candies 
• With new licorice line added to production line, it has become one of the biggest  manufacturers in non filling (belt) and filling licorice (pencil) segment  in Turkey and Worldwide.
