The story of Pangkor Boy begins on Pangkor Island, Malaysia, where our family has lived for generations. Our ancestors moved from Nanyang to Malacca and eventually settled on Pangkor Island, where they began a life of fishing. As the fishing industry thrived, we started processing squid and satay fish. At one point, many golden threadfin breams were caught, but due to their small size and low meat content, they were often discarded. To reduce waste, we began cutting, drying, saucing, and baking the fish, transforming it into the signature satay fish snack that is now sold across Malaysia.
Proudly Made in Malaysia, we bring over 30 years of manufacturing experience to our products. Our satay fish is a beloved childhood snack for generations (90+/80+/70+), made from real cuttlefish and satay. With a well-planned production capacity and the ability to customize flavors, we focus on delivering high-quality products while building a strong brand.
