Founded in 1869, our green tea plantation is located in the Nissaka area where high-quality green tea is produced, blessed with most fertile soil and best climate in the Kakegawa city of Shizuoka prefecture boasting of its Japan's No. 1 green tea yield. From the Edo era we have been supplying green tea rich in taste and flavor produced in the vast tea plantation on the cultivation land granted to our ancestors by Kazutoyo Yamanouchi, the lord of Kakegawa castle.
