Innovation for Malaysian Heritage

LiGNO, founded in 2009, is the world’s first producer of the Tiger Milk Mushroom (Lignosus rhinoceros). With support from the Ministry of Agriculture Malaysia, LiGNO has set up a production plant to cultivate, promote and commercialize Tiger Milk Mushroom. The Tiger Milk Mushroom, once thought to be uncultivable, was finally successfully cultivated by LiGNO using LiGNO’s special formulation and cultivation technology. This proprietary technology is highly prized as it can be also applied to the cultivation of other potential tropical medicinal mushrooms.

The Professional Acknowledgement 

LiGNO has been certified by The Malaysia Book of Records as the first to produce Tiger Milk Mushroom. The company’s cultivation and production facilities have also been certified Halal by JAKIM and Organic by Scheme Organic Malaysia (SOM). Over the year, LiGNO has expanded its' product lines to other medicinal mushrooms such as Cordyceps sinensis, Pleuretus tuber rigium and etc.
