Founded in May 2020 during the first Movement Control Order (MCO) of the Covid-19 pandemic, AyoMayo started as a heartfelt initiative to support a colleague in need. Our first product, a matcha milk spread, was born from a shared love for matcha. After a month of research and development, we launched the spread, refining its taste based on customer feedback and achieving an impressive 98% positive response. Encouraged by the growing demand, we continued producing it even after the MCO, ultimately transitioning from our full-time jobs to focus solely on AyoMayo in August 2022.
As we expanded our product offerings to include dark chocolate and earl grey flavors, we faced the challenge of our milk spread's short shelf life. Recognizing the need for a more sustainable product, we pivoted to almond butter, which allows for longer shelf stability and promotes healthier choices. Today, we proudly offer six unique flavors of almond butter, each crafted with high-quality ingredients and a commitment to delivering a delightful taste experience.
